"The higher-ups in the company like district managers are not friendly at all and are very demeaning and dismissively rude to lower employees. Company does not take security seriously either. No cameras anywhere in the store (on the floor or in the back), there was even an incident between employees and lack of cameras for safety could have played a vital roll in preventing/resolving that issue. This was just an "in-between" job for me, but the environment was so ridiculous, demeaning, and frustrating that I left before my other job started because I just was sick of it. The district manager LOVED to come in and make you undo everything she told you to do last time and criticize you for it."

The older woman who are associates are great but the managers are worthless and don’t do anything that does help them."

"I worked for both stores associated with Ann inc and both were the worst jobs I have ever held in my life, at Ann the managers were disorganized, the store was a mess, stress levels were high and no one was happy. Then I moved over to loft thinking it would be better, the manager turned out to be petty and childish picking favorites to give all available hours to. I had a disagreement with her and she took away all my hours so I went from working 25 hours a week to 8 hours a week. All the girls working there were super young and immature, super rude to everyone and if you made a mistake everyone was publicly told about it. There was no mutual respect or appreciation, everyone was just talking behind each others back. Absolutely dreaded coming in to work everyday."

"Harrased by the management, both managers were consistantly calling off, sales leads were managers, but only paid part time anad worked 42+ hours weekly. Managers were very lazy and ill mannered in their judgment and position as manager... do not waste your time here unless it is a summer job for high school. Starts at $10, raises are less than .25"

The system and programs used at the register and for online orders are always glitching, which is very discouraging for the employee and customer. "I placed an order on December 2nd that was shipped in 3 separate packages. One of the packages has not moved since December 9th. They keep telling me it's "on it's way" when it is clearly not. I've contacted customer service FIVE TIMES for a refund and keep getting the run around. Terrible and very disappointing for a company I used to love. No more."

"Ordered 4 items Dec. 9, 2020. Rec. 3 of them on Dec. 23 while the last item kept saying "processing" Contacted cust. service on 12-28 to inquire. That chat was disconnected after a half hour of nothing. 2nd call responded with a statement about asking the company to look into it??? Then Jan 4 got email that said to expect it 1-9 However the Post office tracking # shows the item has not been received by them. cust. service is one of the worst i have ever dealt with."

"I love that Ann Taylor carries a wide line of petite clothing, and I do love their clothes. However, DO NOT ORDER if you need an item by a specific date! On November 24, 2020, I ordered two blouses to give as holiday gifts, which I expected to receive in time to mail them from NY to FL. Hello: it is now December 19, 2020, and USPS tracking indicates the package has not been received from the shipping partner. Customer service has not been able to assist. Meanwhile, I several other competitor companies sent my online purchases immediately, and I received items from them within a week of purchase."

"Ann Taylor you have lost my package, you have lied to me saying it's delayed but you don't where is it. You keep telling to check the tracking on USPS which on 12/1 says they are waiting for the package and no further information. Your own website says it should have been delivered 12/9. On 12/10, your CS dept said 12/10. Today your CS department says wait til 12/15 for an order that was placed 11/26. An order you have no idea where it is by your own admission. And now you refuse to issue a refund for a lost package. I expected better from AT."

"Beware when you place an online order. My order was placed on 11/16 and never shipped. It has been nearly a month with probably 2 hour of effort on my part to get it resolved. As of today no one will tell me when my order should arrive and they refuse to refund my money. BAD BUSINESS Ann Taylor!! You went from one of my favorite on line stores to one that is completely off my list!"

"The ordering process seemed to go well. Unfortunately, AT contracts with Pitney Bowes for delivery. I received an email from AT that my package was sent on 12/1. That was not true. The USPS indicates that they have not received the package so it can be shipped. AT believes the package should have been received yesterday but that is not true as well. Ditch Pitney Bowes."

So, I contacted customer service. Tianna was very rude and disrespectful. I asked to speak to a manager and was refused. First and last time shopping at this website and store."

"My order was cancelled after cyber Monday stating the reason that the item was no longer available. When i checked item was available online and in store. I called customer care who said there was a IT glitch due to which combined coupons were allowed to be used on my order. I wasted my hour for ordering and then another hour after customer care as it was a gift. I was better off to shop at other brands during the competitive weekend of black Friday and cyber Monday but lost the opportunity to shop else where and find a better deal due to such practices used at Ann Taylor Big brand like Ann Taylor should own up the mistake and have clear reason stating why the order was cancelled, or else honor the order rather than blaming customers to use wrong coupons."

"Ann Taylor just LOST a 30 year loyal client... they refused to fix an overcharge on my bill which resulted in $61.10 late fees for a $10.32 charge. Really!! AT does NOT value its customers. Strict “one time late fee reversal every 18 mo”.... even when it’s their fault. Not a smart business move AT.... especially during these times. You got $61.10 but lost thousands of dollars of future business."

"The customer service online, on the phone and in the store is horrible. I went to my local Ann Taylor Loft in Peachtree Corners, GA and the lady in the store told me that if she gave me my lost item I ordered online that she would be giving it to me for free? What? I paid for the item when I ordered it online, how is that free haha. I've call and emailed Ann Taylor Loft about my missing order and have received no response. I've now taken this up with Paypal in hopes of getting my money back. In addition to the horrible customer service they are requiring everyone to wear a mask. I'm not sick. I don't have a problem with people having the freedom to chose to wear a mask, but you won't force me to wear a mask. If people are really that scared, then stay home!"

"Ann Taylor's customer service is horrible! I've been a customer of Ann Taylor and Loft for years. I placed 2 orders on line. I returned 1 dress from the first order and 1 dress from the second order. I have yet to receive a refund. I was on hold over 50 minutes. I text to customer service and wrote an email on line to customer service. They text me the wrong information and before I could say anything they said, "bye." Ugh! I will never order on-line and I am contemplating buying any of their items."

"Terrible customer service and shipping policy. I ordered clothing on June 3rd and by June 21st the items were STILL processing. I had an expected delivery date for June 24th which seemed a bit late but I figured it would arrive before I needed to move out of my current location. Well here we are on June 22nd and the three items are still processing with no update on the expected delivery date. I tried contacting customer service and was told I could not update my address nor cancel the items, even though they have YET TO BE PROCESSED OR SHIPPED IN THREE WEEKS!!! How ridiculous. For the price of their products, you would think they want to make good relationships with the customers but I see no effort of them doing this. Will never shop from Ann Taylor again."

"I have been trying to get in touch with ANY customer service rep for more than eight [8] days in regards to a return order I sent back. I purchased these items for my wife's birthday. The return was received by Ann Taylor over a week ago and I still have not gotten the credit nor have I been able to get a customer service rep to help me with it. I have called and been placed on hold for over two and a half hours on at least 4 occasions. I have tried sending messages to the number they gave me, and still no answer, I contacted the credit division and still no answer. It is obvious that once they get your money they don't care. I will never, ever make a purchase from them again. It is really sad to see how they don't give a crap about the consumer"

I tried to call customer service, waited an hour, gave up. Its website says to "text" to 800-342-5266 to get quick response. I did, it responded that "We'll review and get back to you shortly." It has been two days."

"I was excited to shop for the first time at a loft store. They had a great sale. My size was not available in the store and the associate informed me that they could ship it to my home if they had it available in their warehouse. We looked and they did. I agreed to the purchase. Once o got home I read the receipt that was emailed to me and discovered it would take 3 weeks before I would receive my purchase. Not acceptable. I have made several attempts to contact Ann Taylor/Loft and I have been unsuccessful. I continue to spend hours on the phone waiting for someone to connect to, it is a constant hold with elevator music. I have tried the text service they offer, it is sub par. The answers appear generated by a computer. My questions are not answered and their is no opportunity to have follow up questions to understand fully what is being communicated in the text. I will never buy from this store unless they have my size in the store. Poor customer service responsiveness. After reading the reviews, I have decided, this will be my first and last time. If they don’t care about customer service, I don’t care to spend my money there."

"I received email on Memorial Day for 70% off full priced item and 60% off additional, placed order for these pants and was so excited they were available! Next day I get email that they are no longer available and order is canceled, so upset!! Get another email today for 65% off so thought I would try again, item shows available only a few days after being told it wasn’t, try to order with same code and it now states item is not eligible! Are you kidding me, is this what I get from Ann Taylor after being a customer for years? Shame on you, it is obvious what you are doing!!"
